In collaboration with CVLT LA, Playa Pictures boasts a state-of-the-art studio on the west side of Los Angeles with a 20′ x 30′ foot cyclorama. Including the cyc, the entire usable stage area is nearly 1800-square-feet. The studio also has a fully-equipped kitchen, production room, conference room, bar space, and outdoor patio area, as well as reception and bathrooms. Our various edit, coloring, and VFX bays are equipped with Nuke, Maya, 3D Studio Max, Smoke, Flare, Flame, Premier, and much more. Lighting, grip, camera, and generator rentals are also available.

Jose Delgado is Head of Production, Creative Director, and Owner of Playa Pictures, LLC. Jose possesses an inherent aptitude for film and has produced hundreds of projects, ranging from television commercials to independent films and documentaries. To Jose, the art of the business is about understanding a vision and being able to execute it in a way that is relatable, marketable, and visually appealing. His extraordinary creativity melds seamlessly with his intuitive business sense, giving him the ability to create beautiful content that sells. He has worked on all aspects of production, including producing, directing, marketing, and distribution.
Martin Linss is as comfortable on a fashion set in Los Angeles as he is on a flatbed truck in Sierra Leone. Martin’s extensive range as both a cinematographer and photographer is demonstrated in a stunning and widely-recongnized body of work. From high-profile commercial projects to his volunteer efforts in Africa, Martin is able to find the central beauty or truth of any subject with astonishing ease and appeal. A native of Germany, Martin moved to NYC in 1989 to study cinematography at the School of Visual Arts. He has since made Venice Beach, California his home and continues to find new inspiration all around.
